"Creativity involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look at things in a different way. Creativity is a great motivator because it makes people interested in what they are doing. Creativity makes life more fun and more interesting." - Edward de Bono.
Started in 1999, Globalart is the first and only systematic, complete and efficient art programme that aims to develop the artistic and creative potential of children. The founder of Globalart, Mr. Mahair Goh, has a passion for art & has worked with children for over 2 decades. His philosophy is "Art & Creativity can never be separated, one needs the other to function as a team to realise our imagination." Globalart is currently being run in 22 countries across 650 centres and has benefitted over 275,000 children. To instil a higher level of artistic appreciation and skill in our students, Globalart has done extensive research in the development of the step-by-step art syllabus, which has been a trendsetter. Systematic and straight forward, this syllabus is designed to cater to the needs of all students, even to those with little artistic talents. The Globalart method of learning is uniquely creative & enjoyable, and has helped children grow creatively. It gives them the confidence to excel in school and society.
Globalart was launched in India by SIP Academy and started off with its first centre in Chennai, in May 2005. This programme is currently being run in 7 states - Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Delhi NCR, Kerala and Rajasthan. The programme has added colour & enhanced creativity in the lives of over 70,000 children.
The globalart Programme in India caters to children in the age group of 5 - 15 years. Globalart has a carefully designed curriculum that allows children to participate and learn progressively, introducing them to various themes, composition techniques and media. The programme sets creative challenges and encourages children to think 'out-of-the-box'.
In an increasingly competitive world, strong creative ability is what will differentiate the winners in all walks of life. Our emphasis on unique creations by every child helps build and develop strong creative thinking skills, which will help them succeed in their future. Globalart also lays the foundation for a wide variety of professions such as advertising, animation, architecture, computer graphics, innovation and product packaging, interior and fashion designing, etc.
